December, 10 2009 06:15 PM - Martin Ranscombe Drum Masterclass
Room 103, The ICMP, London, London and South East NW6 7XG - Free

Martin Ranscombe, a Mapex-sponsored artist, will be visiting the ICMP to give an incredible masterclass on drum tuning on Thursday, 10th December. Having been featured in Rhythm magazine and specialising in drum tuning education, this is not a masterclass for any drummer to miss! With over 30 years experience, Martin was appointed in 2005 as a clinician and educator for Aquarian drumheads and Mapex drums and he is eager to ‘spread the word’ about the importance of good tuning and to de-mystify this often thorny subject. Above all, he believes that tuning drums should be a fun part of being a drummer not ‘an evil necessity’ as it is often regarded. Sign-up at Reception now or email your name, course and contact information to info@icmp.co.uk! Spaces very limited! * FOR DRUM STUDENTS ONLY*
