Moraine is thrilled to announce that we’ve been invited to play NEARfest (Northeast Art Rock Festival) 2010 in Pennsylvania next June, the major progressive rock event in North America (see www.nearfest.com). It’s rather extraordinary that an ’unknown’ band like ourselves would get an invite to this prestigious confab, but apparently our CD Manifest Density has been making waves out there in the progosphere. We’ll be sharing the NEARfest stage with the likes of a reconstituted Gentle Giant (as "Three Friends"), Steve Hackett, England’s The Enid, France’s amazing Forgas Band Phenomenon, and others. We’ll also be putting together a short Northeast tour around the festival. Look for more details as the date approaches.
