The Nine" 1st Anniversary Show and Celebration! In December of 2008, Justin Trawick created "The Nine" as a platform for 9 songwriters to showcase their work on one night to a supportive listening audience at a prominentWashington DC venue, DC9. Since the first show, news and support of this artistic endeavor has spread and "Nine" showcases have been created in Richmond, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. On December 13th, 2009, you are cordially invited to the year one birthday celebration of "The Nine" proudly being held once again at DC9 in Washington DC. Everyone who has ever graced the "Nine" stage at DC9 has been invited to play. Doors and an artist "meet and greet" will be at 6:30pm with the show starting at 7pm. An afterparty will follow.
