Art Freckles is a collective established in September 2009 by two young artists based in Dublin – painter Iwona Stefańczuk (www.iwonastefanczuk.com) and photographer Magda Nowacka (www.magdanowacka.com). Both ladies already had many exhibitions in Ireland, abroad and as well they have been co-organisers of NV Art Festival in June 2009 in Back Loft, which turned out to be great success. After that they decided they want to create their own collective, which would be dedicated to promote every kind of art and every artist. Art Freckles goal is to run many events like exhibitions, concerts and festivals showing the diversity of art and its creators. Also we aim to be a open art forum, where people can discuss new trends, share ideas, gain experience and of course promote their works. We want to show that all media have their power, therefore all the events will include painters, photographers, musicians, sculptors, designers, actors and performers, comedians, dancers, filmmakers and other media. The first big event will be held from 4th to 6th of December 2009 in Back Loft, La Catedral Studios in Dublin and will be entitled “ZERO GRAVITY”. We’re playing at it though, because we owe Magda & Iwona a favour or two :)
