December, 12 2009 09:00 PM - Junk Sessions present secretsundaze @ Junk Club
Junk Club 55 London Road Southampton Hampshire SO15 2AD, Southampton, London and South East - £6 Advanced

Junk sessions welcome the legendary London brand secretsundaze who changed the face of daytime clubbing in London with their regular summer parties in the capital. Since its humble beginnings over 7 years ago secretsundaze has gained a reputation as one of the most innovative, exciting and fun places to be for house and techno heads and party people alike. Utilising numerous risqué and often open-air venues, they have hosted some of the most colourful parties that London has seen in recent years. With their stylish, hedonistic crowd and their attention to detail on the production side, the parties now have the reputation as being the place that Europe’s finest underground DJs want to play at and Europeans visiting London have to go to. Over the years, the likes of Ame, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Tobi Neumann, Trevor Jackson, Luciano, Dan Ghenacia and Steve Bug have all graced the decks. Not only have their parties become one of the most successful events in London, they’re also found hosting packed arenas at popular festivals such as: TDK Cross Central, Lovebox, Wildchild and 2006’s Best New Festival Bloom. secresundaze have also made a big impact in Europe with highly memorable daytime / outdoor parties in Ibiza (Blue Marlin, Gala Night (the old Zoo)) Sonar (Parc Del Forum, Shoko, Xiringuito Escriba) and Austria’s Snowbombing (Mayhrofen). DJing on the night is secretsundaze co-founder James Priestley whose notoriety grew as the secretsundaze parties started to take shape but he also made a name for himself as a producer and just generally as a talented DJ. With several remixes under his belt and his debut track being snapped up by Will Saul’s Simple label plus a secretsundaze compilation on the shelves and his own label in the pipeline, James is no longer one to watch but a firmly established name on the scene.

December, 31 2009 08:00 PM - secretsundaze NYE 2009/10 @ The CAMP w/Delano Smith, WBeeza - Live
The CAMP, 70-74 City Rd, London, UK, - £14.50 Early Bird, £19.50 Second Issue, £24.50 Advanced

secretsundaze are excited to release details of our NYE party for 2009/2010. Taking things more intimate this year and with a real back to basics feel, we will be taking over our very own James’ new temporary venue The CAMP (The City Arts & Music Project) in the heart of Shoreditch. Hosting the perfectly formed, raw basement which has seen off the hook parties from the likes of Sud Electronic and Bad Passion, making it one of the most talked about new party spaces in London, we have invited both Delano Smith (Mixmode, Detroit) and our close friend Wbeeza (Third Ear) to welcome in the new year. Delano is one of the unsung and most underrated Detroit artists and has a huge House music heritage, having been cited by none other than Derrick May as a major inspiration as a DJ. His music on the likes of his own Mixmode and also the UK’s excellent Third Ear has a great warmth, depth and class only dreamed of by other artists. Just check his recent Nebula EP on Mixmode or Midnite on Third Ear for a taster. This is a very rare and highly anticipated performance from Delano in UK. Also guesting on the night will be Wbeeza - Live (Third Ear). Warren’s music has already made serious waves around the globe. His sound is influenced by Detroit house/techno as a base, yet with a heavy smattering of jazz, soul and other urban London flavours such as garage and dubstep. Ultimately it all makes for a potent dancefloor cocktail that will have you groovin! Last but surely not least, London’s finest Giles Smith and James Priestley step up as residents, keeping the temperature high. Upstairs we have also invited 2 London crews that we are close to, to keep the family vibe. Going head to head are To The Bone and The Cosmic Truth. Both have impeccable disco, funk to house credentials and should ensure we wave goodbye to 2009 and say hello to 2010 in fine style. So with two super hot underground guests joining Giles and James, going for a return to a smaller more intimate party vibe, taking over one of London’s buzziest new venues, two of London’s reigning Disco crews hosting the second room and a no-nonsense admission price, this is without doubt one of the hottest new year tickets. Line Up // Delano Smith (Mixmode/Third Ear, Detroit) WBeeza - Live (Third Ear) Giles Smith (Two Armadillos/secretsundaze) James Priestley (Simple/secretsundaze) Tickets // £14.50 Early Bird £19.50 Second Release £24.50 Advanced Available from RA Phonica and The Camp
