The concert, featuring popular L.A. artist James Lee Stanley, and local favorites Michael Tiernan, Peter Bolland, Mountain Ghost, Cahill and Delene, and Rathburn himself, will center on songs promoting the idea of peaceful coexistence in a more enlightened world. “This isn’t an anti-war rally as such”, says Rathburn, “it’s simply a song celebration of the idea of peace on earth.”All proceeds go to benefit the Peace Alliance (ThePeaceAlliance.org), a national organization founded in 2004 whose mission is to empower civic activism for a culture of peace. Their vision is a future where the practical programs and principles of peacebuilding are the bedrock of our personal, national and global interest and investment. Their goal is to make peacebuilding central to our policymaking, investment and understanding.
