Charlie’s put together a cool, once-a-month concert series at the fantastic new Encinitas Library. (As an Encinitas resident I can tell you it’s nice to live in a city with a good tax base.) Great theater/room overlooking the ocean, great enthusiastic music fans and a really pleasant scene. So this is the way to see our boy SPUD DAVENPORT (find him on our top friends). Show is a WED from 5:30 UNTIL ABOUT 8:00. Charlie is prepared to fill in any time solo which Spud doesn’t want - scream for encores and he’ll stay. Bigfellas back in SW Portland by popular demand. We loved playing here last time so it’s the first place we thought of for our December return. Right by the river & Burnside Bridge, and next door to the place that sells cheeseburgers with donuts as a bun. Great outdoor area, nice bartenders, cheap drinks and fun stage ... our only full-band Portland area show on this tour, so come join the fun.

In all seriousness, this might be our favorite venue of alltime. I beautiful short ferry ride across from Anacortes, Anderson’s is a kick-ass restaurant and bar overlooking the endless water and a meadow where dogs run free. Anything goes on Guemes Island. We’re really excited to be back there - we promise to play here EVERY time we’re going around the Pacific Northwest. Hope to see as many locals and tourists as we can there ... this place is great. (This show we’re upstairs and inside instead of the patio in winter.)
