The Gods and Goddesses are presented in two specific categories – Theos Epiphanes or “God Manifest” for those Light Bearing powers which have risen through us and taken humanity to new heights and Theoi Khthonioi or “Gods of the Underworld” or “Earth” relating to the darker aspects of the Gods – all the while presenting a balanced perspective of how one may work with the various masks and powers of each of the Gods.
Invocations and simple offerings with incense, honey and milk are described with their foundations in the ancient Orphic and Homeric hymns, restructured to a modern approach. Gods such as Zeus the Thunderer, Zeus Lykaios as the devouring wolf-god, Zeus Maimaktes as the God “Thirsting for Blood” all present the different manifestations of the God as both a bringer of Wisdom and of Fierce aggression. Apollo in his numerous beautiful manifestations and his later Roman-Domitian Apollyon manifestation. Tyche, Hecate, Artemis and many other Goddess forms and workings are presented.
Paganism is defined and united with the Left Hand Path as a way to individual power, strength and wisdom and will no doubt leave a different perspective on the origins of the name “lucifer” and how the Adversary may be viewed as a balanced, beneficial force in your own life.
Michael W. Ford also has several basic left hand path “pagan” rites as well, to align and focus the mind on self-development and “ascending” including two dangerous and chaos-inspired TYPHON and ECHIDNA rituals.
