Tim Minchin arrived on the British Comedy Scene at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2005, winning the Perrier-best-newcomer award.
The multi-talented Minchin describes his own act as a "funny cabaret show", consisting of songs and poetry, interspersed with stand-up, about such diverse things as religion, sexual fetish and social satire.
